We are always on the lookout for volunteers to bring their skills, Knowledge and enthusiasm to Deaf Access .
Volunteering is also a way of making a difference in your own life too by meeting new people and learning new skills, it can also help in developing your own skills and expertise to gain knowledge and enhance your career prospects and build up your CV.
We have opportunities for Volunteers to help out in number of ways:
Receptionists to assist in managing our reception area and helping in orgainising our groups.
Equipment Demonstrations to demonstrate the different types of equipment that are available for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people.
Advocates to provide support and assistance with letter reading and writing, filling in forms and general support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people.
Fundraisers to take part in fundraising events and other initiatives.
Admin Assistants to help out with office administration duties.
IT Support to help with updating and developing our IT services such as database management, website and other internet services.
